Susanna’s story comes from Greek manuscripts of the Book of Daniel. The story depicts a woman named Susanna, a wealthy Babylonian Jewish woman who is falsely accused and condemned to death at the Babylonian court. She calls out to The Most High, and the prophet Daniel is sent to expose the false witnesses and thereby save Susanna.
